Fowley's Falls

 

 

Fowley's Falls is on the road to Caitríona's farm and it is absolutely stunning.

Considered to be one of the best kept secrets of Leitrim, Ireland, the Fowley's Falls in Rossinver are simply spectacular. Cascading over a series of exposed bedrocks, these waterfalls rush down a steep valley before reaching Lough Melvin.

Benbulben

Benbulben is only a 30min drive south of Caitríona's and has stunning views over Sligo and Leitrim on a clear day. Benbulben is named after a Gaelic chieftain and means Gulban's Head. It is the western point of the Dartry Mountains, a large and bulky collection of heads and glaciated valleys.

Diarmuid & Gráinne's Cave

 

 

Diarmuid and Gráinne's cave is located above the cliffs of Annacuna at the back of the Gleniff Horseshoe, the spectacular glacial valley behind Benwisken. This is one of the highest caves in Ireland, with one of the widest mouths, and has fabulous views out across the valley to the northwest.
